I'll give you a summary of this page. Generally people think that learning to code is too expensive and/or too time-consuming, but this is not the case. You can learn to code for free with resources such as Code Academy, Team Treehouse, CodeCademy, Coursera, and Codecademy. All these resources have different courses for different levels of proficiency in coding from beginner to advanced. Sometimes it's a little bit hard to find a course that suits your needs but if you use the search engine on the website you should be able to find what you're looking for.
For more details about each of the courses on the websites I just mentioned, check out my other article on How To Find The Right Blockchain Developer For Your Project.
Anyway, once you have learned to code at least a little bit then you are ready to jump into learning blockchain. But still many people don't know where to start so here are some links that will help you do exactly this:
You'll notice there are links for free online courses and links for paid ones. If you want free resources go ahead and click through them but if you want something more in-depth with less time commitment per week, then get yourself a subscription to join one of them. It's up to you really but I personally think that it is a good idea to learn a little bit about blockchain and get familiar with it at least. To be honest, learning a little about blockchain doesn't take that much time and if you're going to start on your ICO then you should know some basics of what you're working with.
In any case, if you want to get into more technical aspects of programming on the blockchain then check out my article on How To Find A Technical Co-Founder For Your Project which has links for coding courses for building applications with Solidity and developing smart contracts.
Hope this helps! Let me know in the comments below what else I can add to this list and subscribe to my mailing list if you haven't done so already. See ya around :)
Article End.
This is just my opinion about how to go about learning blockchain and what I know from experience/online research on the topic. You may or may not agree with it but it doesn't matter, no one knows everything for a fact and we can always learn more! Cheers :)
(If you found this article helpful please give it a "clap" so others will see it as well!) If you want more details on some of the courses mention then click on the links below: Code Academy Team Treehouse Codecademy Coursera Udacity Blockchain University And if you want free resources then check out these sites as well: Github Codepen In terms of finding technical-founders Atomic Shell has created a platform especially for this which you can check out here . It has a tool where you can view reputations of people who are part of the community and what kind of experience they have in blockchain development. This is an example profile page:
You'll notice that right now there aren't many developers registered on the site but I see great potential in it. The CEO, Mark Ryan , even said himself that he would like to make Atomic Shell into something like "the wordpress or shopify" of blockchain platforms (read more about the project here ). He plans to onboard businesses interested in developing their own decentralised applications (dapps).
